The Mission of Newport Community Church is to teach the historic Biblical faith, to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind and to love our neighbor as ourselves, and to make Christian disciples of all peoples (Matthew 22:37-39;28:19).

Our Vision for 2010 is: "To develop one heart, one ministry" (Acts 2:46-47).

Our Core Values are:
Devotion to the apostles' teaching, to fellowship,to communion, and to prayer (Acts 2:42).


Newport Community Church was founded by a small group of families and friends living on Aquidneck Island who desired a local Christian church committed to exalting God's Word (Psalm 138:2).

Our logo, drawn from Psalm 119:114 provides a visual reminder that God Himself shields believers while His Word provides a present and future hope.
